France Shuts out Sweden

On day two of the final round of the European Baseball Championships, France shut out Sweden 10-0.

Starting pitcher Mattias Stenis gave up 8 earned runs in the first three innings. With the loss, Sweden is out of the running to qualify for the 2008 Olympics.

Sweden's final game, against Spain, will be broadcast by Eurosport 2 on Sunday at 17:30 Central European Summer Time.
