Russia's North Star Wins Cup-winner qualifier
The last day of play was unfortunately cancelled due to heavy rain fall. The scheduled best out of three game series between North Stars of Russia and the Swedish team Stockholm, was supposed to be the final games of the Cup-winners Cup, and the winner would be guaranteed a spot in next years A-pool. North Stars won against Stockholm in the round robin game Thursday, and that game counted as the only game in the Finals.
Russia will advance to the A-pool in next years Cup-winners Cup. Stockholm finished in second place, having defeated every team except North Stars.
